Things to do

Around: The Monferrato

The wedding will be in the Monferrato region. It is a wine-producing area with many vineyards. We recommend passing through Casale Monferrato, the town of Fede where you can see the Duomo and taste the famous Krumiri. Several vineyards offer wine tastings. You can also go on a hunt for the Big Benches, giant public benches installed on some hills.

To the east: Turin

Just next to the Alps is Turin, an industrial city that grew thanks to the Fiat factory, the Lingotto, where there was a car test track on its roof. In Turin we recommend the Cinema Museum, very interactive with reproduced sets inside. It is located in the Mole, this iconic tower of the city that is a former synagogue. From the museum you can also take the glass elevator that takes you to the top of the tower. A nice walk to do in Turin is to walk along Via Roma, a shopping artery that is a series of squares decorated with statues going from the train station to the castle.

To the north: Como lake and Milan

If you feel like being romantic, a small trip to Lake Como is worth it. It is the classic destination for Milanese people to relax with plenty of activities to do around the lake. Milan is also worth it for its Duomo and its covered passageway Emmanuele II.

To the south: Liguria and Cinque Terre

A little further, you will find Liguria. The extension of the French Riviera with magnificent beaches and houses built on the cliffs. The villages of the Cinque Terre are the most famous for their colorful facades and picturesque aspect.
